Bio

Dr. Shiau began his clinical research career in UF's Neuroscience and later Biomedical Engineering departments, focusing on seizure disorder EEG dynamics. Over the past eight years, Dr. Shiau has spearheaded multiple NIH-funded clinical studies totaling approximately $4.7M and has been instrumental in study design and data analysis for FDA approvals. Leveraging his expertise in experimental design, clinical research, and scientific writing, he currently teaches Research Methods and Master Thesis courses in a Master’s Degree Program.
