2025 Chi Vet Student Scholarship

A scholarship opportunity for vet school students to learn acupuncture. The scholarship can be used toward any 2025 Chi University Certified Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) class location.

History

Since 1998, Chi has been dedicated to providing top-quality veterinary acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) education to veterinarians and veterinary students. With its Main Campus in Reddick, Florida, USA, and courses based in 22 other countries, over 9,000 veterinarians from 75 countries have been trained by Chi University.

Overview

Chi University is proud to announce its scholarship opportunities for veterinary school students. The scholarship awards each winner $1,000 to $4,000 toward the tuition of the Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) course. Our Vet School Student Scholarship program is intended to aid veterinary students nearing the beginning of their careers to get a foothold in the study and skills of TCVM.

The scholarship will not cover the deposit required upon registration to reserve your seat in the class. It will be applied to the Session 5 tuition first, with any remainder applied to the Session 4 tuition, and so on.

Scholarship Prizes

1st prize: $4,000 value, 2 winners

2nd prize: $2,500 value, 4 winners

3rd prize: $1,500 value, 6 winners

4th prize: $1,000 value, 16 winners

*Students may redeem only one scholarship for each applicable class (scholarships may not be combined).

Application Process

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a current student at an accredited College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM)

Before taking the TCVM Knowledge Contest Quiz, students will need to understand TCVM Fundamentals.

Applicants can download and read the first two chapters of TCVM: Fundamental Principles here.

Applicants will need to participate in the TCVM Knowledge Contest, which consists of a 50 question quiz on TCVM fundamentals.

All applicants must provide the following:

  • Personal statement of interest in TCVM
  • One letter of recommendation by a College of Veterinary Medicine faculty member
  • Copy of your veterinary school student ID or other proof of your enrollment

Applicants must take the TCVM Knowledge Contest Quiz and submit their documents. They may submit their application by clicking "Apply" below.

The deadline to apply is December 5, 2024.
