Chi University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). Chi University's last comprehensive evaluation took place in Fall 2018 and its accreditation was approved in January 2019. The next comprehensive evaluation will be scheduled for Fall 2021.

National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement

Chi University has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements, often known as SARA. SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education. Chi University became a participating institution in July 2019.

Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education

The DEAC is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency. Chi University is also recognized as a Certified Higher Education Professional.
