Veterinary Medical Manipulation Certification Track

Dr. Pasteur grew up showing horses in many disciplines, including reining, saddleseat, dressage and pleasure. She graduated in 1991 from the University of Wisconsin and opened an equine exclusive clinic in Green Bay. The practice grew to cover five counties, with emphases on reproduction and lameness. She received her acupuncture training from IVAS in 1997, sold her conventional practice and began an equine alternative practice. She has been a Chi instructor since 2005 and has lectured internationally. Her current practice encompasses TCVM, veterinary medical manipulation and osteopathy, focusing on sport and performance horses.

Dr. Weller earned her DVM in 2002 from University of Florida (Go Gators). Prior to veterinary school, she was exposed to acupuncture while working at the Standardbred Racetracks and again through her education at University of Florida. She became certified in veterinary acupuncture through Chi University and Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation through IVMI (now part of Chi University). Dr. Weller's practice of 16 years focuses on lameness in performance horses using primarily alternative approaches (acupuncture, spinal manipulation, herbal medicine and tui-na) combined with Western therapies as needed in conjunction with conventional vets. Additional to her work with performance horses, Dr. Weller provides acupuncture services for several performance dog kennels. Dr. Weller has been an instructor with Chi University for 12 years. In her free time, Dr. Weller loves spending time with her son Brock, riding, paddleboarding, and endeavors to experience something new at least once a year.
