A scholarship opportunity for vet school students to learn acupuncture in China
About the Scholarship
Overview
Are you a veterinary school student and interested in learning veterinary acupuncture from world-renowned faculty while experiencing Asian culture in China? If so, apply for the Chi's Study Abroad Scholarship! This scholarship covers approximately 75% of the tuition of Chi's 2023 Veterinary Acupuncture Course hosted in China.
Course Information
This course is equivalent to the first two sessions of the five-session Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) course offered by Chi in the USA. Upon completion of this course, students may continue with sessions 3, 4, and 5 offered online and at Chi's Main Campus in Florida, USA, or in any of the 11 other countries around the world where it’s offered, to obtain the CVA certification.

Application Process
Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a current student in an accredited college of veterinary medicine (CVM)
Learn TCVM Fundamentals
Before taking the TCVM Knowledge Contest Quiz, students will need to understand TCVM Fundamentals.
Applicants can download and read the first two chapters of TCVM: Fundamental Principles here.
Take the Quiz
Applicants will need to participate in the TCVM Knowledge Contest, which consists of a 50 question quiz on TCVM fundamentals.

Prepare Documents
All applicants must provide the following:
- Personal statement of interest in TCVM
- One letter of recommendation by a College of Veterinary Medicine faculty member
- Copy of your vet school student ID

You can apply for both the Chi Vet Student Scholarship and the Chi Abroad Scholarship. You may choose between one of the two awards if you are awarded both scholarships.
