Graduate Studies Course Registration Instructions
Hello Chi Students,
As you prepare to register for your courses, please carefully review the following instructions to ensure a smooth process.
When selecting your courses, you will need to refer to pages 28-31 of Chi University’s Graduate Catalog and your course history onCampusCloud to determine which courses you are eligible to take. If you have any questions about pre/corequisites, feel free to reach out to Master@chiu.edu for clarification.
Important Notes for Registration:
Prerequisite Restrictions: There are no system restrictions preventing students from enrolling in courses without meeting prerequisites. This means you can register for any course, but it is your responsibility to ensure you meet the necessary requirements before enrolling.
Mandatory Lab Registrations: Some courses require associated lab registrations. While selecting your courses, check pages 28-31 of Chi University’s Graduate Catalog to see if the courses are highlighted in yellow and marked with a single asterisk. If so, you must also register for those courses’ mandatory lab courses as well.
To guide you through the process, we have outlined detailed registration instructions below. Please follow them carefully when enrolling in your courses.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Happy studying!
Follow these instructions carefully while registering!
Click on the “Courses” tab
At the bottom of the screen, click on the "Registration" button
Click on your program name
From the drop-down box, select Summer 2025
On the far right, select the course(s) you want to register for by clicking on the green +
Be careful here! Check pages 28-31 of Chi University’s Graduate Catalog to check for any pre/co-requisite requirements and compare this with your course history in CampusCloud.
Any “pre/co-requisite” listed in the Catalog can be taken as a prerequisite OR a corequisite. (That’s why they are called “pre/co-requisites” in the Catalog).
- (CampusCloud lists them all as corequisites, but this should be ignored with the exception of any mandatory lab courses, which are not listed in the Catalog, but are noted by yellow highlights with single asterisks.)
Mandatory Labs
- If a course is listed in the Graduate Catalog with a yellow highlight and a single asterisk, then you must also register for the mandatory lab course.
Pay attention to the wording in the Catalog.
Some pre-co/requisites may be listed in the Catalog as “and” whereas others are listed as “or”. (These all appear in CampusCloud without clarifications, so please rely on the Catalog.)
When you are finished selecting your courses, click "Save"
When you are done, your course(s) will show up as "Scheduled".
You can view your tuition balance in the “Account Ledger” tab and pay your tuition balance in the “Make Payment” Tab.
